"Service above Self"

1. We are a 'Dual Gender' club, which means we welcome lady members.

2. We currently have 46 members, five of whom are ladies.

3. The Rotary motto is "Service above Self" and we try to achieve this in a number of ways:

4. Financial support:

We raise money by various means such as, organising and managing the annual Swimathon, organising a variety of other events, including an annual Craft Fair at the Allendale Centre - see Events.

Last year we raised and distributed £29,699.

5. International support:

We actively support ShelterBox and AquaBox

6. International Twinning:

We have been twinned with the Rotary Club of Avranches, France for over 40 years. We support each other with international projects and one of the most enjoyable aspects is that every year we alternate on a visit to each Club for four days.
